Hamilton College Athletics

Hamilton fields 29 varsity sports in NCAA Division III, where athletes compete for the love of the game rather than athletic scholarships. With 698 total athletes out of 2,045 students, about 34% of the campus participates in varsity sports, making athletics a major part of campus life even without the pressure of big-time college sports. The Continentals compete in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), one of the most competitive D3 leagues in the country.
