Information We Collect

Browsing CampusGuide requires no account and no personal information. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to submit through our contact form: your name, email address, message, and the submitting IP address (kept for spam prevention). We use it only to read and respond to your message, and we do not share or sell it.

Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage (which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from). Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and processes IP addresses as part of this measurement; we do not use it to identify individuals. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google processes this data. You can block these cookies with standard browser settings or extensions without affecting the site.

Cloudflare may also set strictly necessary cookies for security and performance (such as __cflb or __cf_bm). These do not track you across other websites.

Cloudflare

Advertising

CampusGuide does not currently display third-party advertising or use advertising tracking technologies. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Data Sources

All college and university data displayed on this site comes from publicly available data sources including IPEDS, College Scorecard, and NOAA. None of it is personal data about students or applicants.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
