Judson University Athletics

Judson competes in the NAIA, a mid-level division that offers athletic scholarships but operates below NCAA Division I in scope and resources. With 527 total athletes out of 780 students, an impressive 68% of the student body participates in varsity sports. The Eagles field teams in 19 different sports and distribute over $4.2 million in athletic scholarships annually. This heavy athletic participation creates a campus culture where sports play a central role in student life. The university competes in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, facing regional rivals in basketball, soccer, and other sports. While Judson lacks the packed stadiums of major college programs, the high athlete-to-student ratio means nearly seven out of ten students have teammates as classmates and athletic competition shapes much of campus social life.
